MyChart makes managing your medications easier. A list of all prescribed medications is viewable as part of your medical record. Send a message to your clinic team if you have a prescribed medication you would like renewed. Remember to always contact your pharmacy FIRST, to see if you have medication refills remaining. If the provider approves the renewal of the medication, the clinic team will send the new prescription to your preferred pharmacy.

Please allow two business days for the renewal request to be processed. In the event of a UTMB-observed holiday, the response time may be extended. Please don't wait until you are completely out of your medication to request a new prescription.
